Dura Jeffers Revealed at Party with Friends and Family
It was just three short months ago that event sponsors surprised Dura Jeffers at her place of employment with the news that she had been chosen the winner of the first Ultimate Makeover Triad event. Dura was overwhelmed with the news. She could not believe she had been chosen from the hundreds of applicants.
Twelve weeks later, Dura was revealed to over 50 friends, family members and co-workers who gathered to see the results of her amazing transformation at the Revival Grill restaurant in Greensboro.
Dura experienced cosmetic surgery procedures from the Patseavouras Center for Plastic and Laser Surgery, cosmetic dental treatments from the Kraska Center for Cosmetic and General Dentistry; personal fitness and nutrition consulting by Pyramids Wellness Center; hair, make-up and spa services from Chakras Spa and clothing from RAG POETS.
In her initial consultation with Dr. Louie Patseavouras of the of the Patseavouras Center for Plastic and Laser Surgery, Dura indicated that she wanted to look ten years younger. Her cosmetic facial procedures included a face-lift, forehead lift, eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty and Restylane injections. "I can't believe how much younger I look," stated Dura, "I love the new me!"
Dr. Jan Kraska of the Kraska Center for Cosmetic and General Dentistry knew immediately that Dura liked to smile. But, according to Dr. Kraska, "Dura seemed to try and hide her teeth when she smiled. I wanted her to feel a new sense of confidence." Dura received extensive cosmetic dentistry including veneers and tooth whitening from the Center.
Dura also experienced over 18 pounds of weight loss and dropped three dress sizes while under the guidance of Personal Trainer, Bert Wray. She underwent an aggressive fitness regiment and nutrition consulting program defined by Pyramids Wellness Center. According to Bert, "Dura was one of the most committed clients I have ever worked with. Her enthusiasm and dedication to the program we designed really paid off."
The final touches for Dura included spa treatments and styling at Chakras Spa. "Her hair-style had not been updated in years," according to Sheila Paquette, owner of the spa. The stylists at Chakras Spa gave her a new hair style with highlights and a softer look with new make-up techniques to complement her new look.
She completed her new look with stylish clothing and shoes from Rag Poets.
Dura was supported throughout the makeover process by her family, friends and coworkes; but, she attributes most of success to the strength and love by her husband. "He was there for me from the beginning and he is by side tonight," stated Dura. She also thanked all of the event sponsors throughout the evening.
The event was covered by local photographers and by WFMY Channel 2 and UPN 48 who featured Dura on the evening and morning news programs.
